Freestyle takes swing at 'Fighting'

Freestyle Releasing — a Santa Monica-based domestic theatrical distribution and marketing company formed by Susan Jackson, Mark Borde and Mike Doban — has acquired North American rights to "Fighting Tommy Riley," the feature directorial debut of Eddie O'Flaherty. The film, which stars J.P. Davis and Eddie Jones, picked up the Kodak Award for Cinematography for Michael Fimognari's work at the just-concluded 2004 Hamptons International Film Festival. Based on a screenplay by Davis, the film was financed and produced by Bettina Tendler O'Mara's Visualeyes Prods. and Jellyworks.
